The much awaited – Crispy Cauliflower Bites recipe!!!

- … did I mention it’s delicious!?
It’s also Vegan, Gluten Free + Dairy Free. Wahoo!
Here’s what you will need
(The recipe feeds 4 people… or 2 very hungry people)
- 1 Large Cauliflower broken into large florets
- Vegan Mayonnaise (I use Vegenaise)
- 4 tbsp Brown Rice Flour
- 3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 2 tbsp Oregano
- 2 tbsp Paprika
- 2 teaspoon Pink Salt
- 2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
- + Olive oil (for shallow frying)
Step 1 – Start by chopping (or ripping) your washed cauliflower into large – bite size florets
Step 2 – In a large bowl, coat your florets with your Vegan Mayonnaise (I usually add about 2 table spoons and go from there, make sure they are all coated evenly)
Step 3 – In a seperate bowl, mix all of your dry ingredients together and set beside your mayo covered florets.
Step 4 – One by one, coat your floret into the dry mix! and when done, set aside on a plate
Step 5 – Bring a large wok or skillet to medium heat on your stove top. Add olive oil (or coconut if you prefer) until it coats the bottom, about 1-2cms deep!
Step 6 – Add in your florets (about 8 at a time, or however may you can fit, and shallow fry until golden brown!) Set aside on a plate with a paper towel after so that it can soak as much oil out as possible!
Step 7 – In a small dish mix some Tabasco with Vegan Mayo (for a bit of a kick!) or just keep the mayo as el-natural!
Step 8 – EATTTTTTT!
